My name is Patricia LaCroix, and I’m the owner of LaCroix Creative. With the 2017 launch of our newest version of our already ages old website, we decided to also implement a blog. We do blogs for our clients. We do blogs for other websites. It was high time that we invested in a blog for ourselves as well.

Our blog’s mission

The purpose of our LaCroix Creative blog is simple: To provide our clients and potential clients with free useful information pertaining to our three categories of services: 1) Brand Identity, 2) Online Presence, and 3) Print Publishing.

In doing so, we hope to impart you with value in terms of education and knowledge. Knowledge is a powerful thing. It takes us from rarely blissful ignorance to a foundation of truth. It’s on that foundation of facts that a business builds itself into a successful one.

Clients with a lot in common

Over the years, many of the clients I’ve personally worked with have had little if any experience with the creative side of marketing or publishing. But they all knew one important thing — they needed it.

Something else they all knew was that they weren’t going to be able to do it well on their own. It’s true that — for a long time now — a person needn’t have much, if any, experience in to produce a flier or a brochure. More recently, even web production doesn’t take a lot of know-how to implement. If they had the time and the willingness, all of them could have embarked on that journey, completely on their own.

But to produce something that looks attractive, that draws in a specific audience, that pulls in visitors, that properly markets a product or service, that communicates your message in an effective manner — THIS is what they were all missing.

But again, my clients had one more thing in common. They were all smart enough to know what was missing, and they searched out someone who could deliver that for them.

A passion for service

That said, they turned me and my business — and I couldn’t be happier, for a few reasons. Of course, it’s been my chosen method of making a living. I’m a creative-type, and I need to create to be happy. To be able to do so and use that as a means of putting a roof over my family’s head and food on our table pleases me to no end.

But beyond that, I’m also a person who has the heart of a teacher and the soul of a servant. If I know something good, positive, and useful, I always want to share it with others. I enjoy helping people.

And over the many years of offering my creative services to others, I’ve greatly enjoyed helping my clients. My hope is that this blog also continues to help educate you. I’d like it to help build your confidence and remove any fears you might have in pursuing creative endeavors that can better your business.
